Balance Pure Citronella Essential Oil - 10ml
Size: 10ml
Description
Fresh, lemony and slightly grassy, Balance Citronella Essential Oil has a strong, uplifting aroma that’s especially popular during the warmer months. Best known as a natural insect repellent, Citronella is a summer favourite for gardens, patios and evenings spent outdoors.
Why we like it
• Fresh, zingy lemony aroma
• Traditionally used as a natural insect repellent
• Perfect for summer and outdoor use
• Fresh and uplifting when diffused
• Blends particularly well with citrus oils
Citronella is probably best known for helping to discourage mosquitoes and other insects, making it a popular choice for summer evenings, outdoor entertaining, camping and time spent in the garden. Its distinctive scent is widely used in outdoor candles, sprays and aromatic blends.
It’s not just an outdoor oil though. Citronella has a wonderfully fresh, invigorating fragrance and is traditionally used in aromatherapy when you want to freshen the air and create a clean, uplifting atmosphere. Its scent is bright and citrusy with distinctive green, grassy notes.
Citronella blends particularly well with lemon, bergamot and orange, as well as eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint and cedarwood.
