Warm, sweet and comforting, Balance Benzoin Essential Oil has a rich, vanilla-like aroma with soft balsamic notes. Bottled in Scotland by Balance Natural Health, Benzoin is traditionally used in aromatherapy for its calming, soothing fragrance and is particularly useful when you want to relax and unwind.

Benzoin has a wonderfully rich, cosy scent, often described as similar to vanilla with warm, resinous undertones. Its comforting fragrance makes it a lovely choice for diffusing in the evening or whenever you want to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
Traditionally used in aromatherapy for dry skin, Benzoin also makes a useful addition to diluted massage and body oil blends. Essential oils and aromatic extracts used topically should always be appropriately diluted.
Its warm fragrance is also excellent for blending. Benzoin works particularly well with orange, bergamot and other citrus oils, as well as lavender, frankincense and woody oils, adding sweetness and depth to a blend.
