Fresh, sweet and herby, Balance Basil Essential Oil is a pure Ocimum basilicum essential oil, bottled in Scotland by Balance Natural Health. Traditionally used in aromatherapy for its uplifting and stimulating aroma, Basil is a great oil to reach for when you're feeling mentally tired or in need of a little focus.

Basil has a wonderfully fresh, green aroma, often used in aromatherapy when you feel tired, mentally drained, or lacking concentration. Its stimulating scent makes it particularly nice to diffuse while working or studying, or whenever you want a fresher, more uplifting atmosphere.
When diluted into a massage oil, Basil is also traditionally used in aromatherapy for tired, tense muscles, making it a useful addition to massage blends after a long or active day.
Add to a diffuser or oil burner on its own, or blend with other essential oils. Basil works particularly well alongside citrus oils such as lemon and bergamot, as well as lavender, rosemary and peppermint.
