Apricot Kernel Oil is pressed from the kernels of apricots and is naturally rich in fatty acids including oleic and linoleic acid. It has a lighter texture than many richer carrier oils, helping to soften and condition the skin without leaving it feeling overly greasy.
Its gentle nature makes it particularly popular in facial oils and skincare blends for dry, sensitive or mature skin. It can also be used in body and massage oils when you want a smooth, nourishing carrier with good absorption.
Apricot Kernel Oil also works well as a hair and scalp oil, particularly for dry or dull-looking hair, and can be used alone or combined with other carrier and essential oils.
