Considered a base note essential oil, Myrhh can help us feel grounded even when we are dealing with the preoccupations of a busy, stress-filled life. Other examples of base note essential oils are frankincense, vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli. These oils come from parts of the plants that are near the earth and thus, can they help us stay, or become, grounded.
Base note essential oils can add a real depth to blends. Myrrh pairs particularly well with frankincense, lavender, sandalwood, clove, patchouli and benzoin essential oils. Add a few drops of pure myrrh oil to warm bathwater, or blend some of the above essential oils to create your own tailored blend.
For topical application, ensure proper dilution with a carrier oil to prevent skin irritation. Pure essential oils, when used undiluted, may cause sensitivity, so blend responsibly for a refreshing and delightful experience. Not for internal use.
