How do I take apple cider vinegar?
It's best to have apple cider vinegar before a meal or on an empty stomach to maximise its health benefits.
It can be drunk either hot or cold but should be diluted in water before drinking. Drinking neat apple cider vinegar can cause damage to the throat or oesophagus.
As a rough guide, add 1–2 tablespoons (15–30 ml) of apple cider vinegar to 1 cup (237 ml) of water.
